Thermal power:As of 2020, CMEC has built 218 coal-fired and gas turbine power plants in over 20 countries and regions across the world. It boasts a full range of gas turbine power plants from Class B to Class H, with a total installed capacity exceeding 24.55 GW.

　　Hydropower:CMEC has constructed large hydropower stations in 10-odd countries and regions, including Pakistan N-J Hydropower Project, Congo (Brazzaville) Imboulou Hydropower Project and Nigeria Zungeru Hydropower Station. Such hydropower plants have been hailed by the international media as the “Three Gorges Project” in the countries.

　　Power transmission and transformation:In nearly 10 countries and regions, CMEC, known as the “messenger of light”, has built a series of power grid projects such as national backbone grids, substations and smart grids, with voltage levels ranging from 400 volts to 500 kilovolts.

　　New energy:In recent years, CMEC has served as a major driving force for green energy worldwide. The achievements include various types of solar farms, wind power plants, waste-to-energy power plants, biogas power plants, and energy storage power stations, completely covering new energy categories. The UAE Al Dhafra project, commencing in early 2021, is by far the world’s largest single solar farm. CMEC has developed battery energy storage products and compressed air energy storage projects, playing an important role in building a new power system with new energy as the main body.

CMEC has built water plants and urban water supply systems in China, Congo (Brazzaville), Cameroon, Sri Lanka and other countries.

CMEC has built a wide range of projects in China, Belarus, Ethiopia and Thailand, involving treatment of sewage, waste and flue gas.

CMEC has been engaged in grain trade and agribusiness development in Ukraine, Pakistan, and southern Africa.

CMEC has engaged itself in developing housing, hospitals, gymnasiums, university towns and new urbanization construction in China, Canada, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the Maldives, Equatorial Guinea, Zambia, and Cameroon. In recent years, CMEC has made a host of achievements in new infrastructure projects for data centres and AI facilities in domestic and international markets, in particularly in the domestic market.

CMEC has renovated and constructed transportation hub infrastructure covering roads, railways and airports in Argentina, Myanmar, Angola, Congo (Brazzaville) and Côte d'Ivoire.

CMEC has built smelters, cement plants, coal mines and other industrial projects in Belarus, Iraq, Turkey, Indonesia, Thailand, Bolivia, Russia and others.

CMEC has constructed postal and telecommunication facilities and urban security networks in countries including Bangladesh, Angola and Myanmar. It is advancing into the field of 5G communication.
