On August 4, Fang Yanshui, General Manager of China Machinery Engineering Group Corporation (CMEC Group), met with Mr. Azmat Mahmood, Chairman of NIMEX Terminals, and his delegation. The two sides held in-depth discussions on deepening existing cooperation and next-step work arrangements.

During the meeting, Fang Yanshui briefed Chairman Azmat Mahmood and his delegation on CMEC Group’s full industrial chain capabilities and global presence in the energy, petrochemical, and infrastructure sectors, and expressed his gratitude to NIMEX Terminals for its trust and support. He stated that CMEC Group attaches great importance to the cooperation and will fully leverage its advantages in local resources, large-scale energy infrastructure EPC contracting, and supply chain integration to jointly advance the next steps. Chairman Azmat Mahmood gave positive remarks on CMEC Group and expressed high expectations for future cooperation. The two sides exchanged views and reached consensus on next-step work arrangements.

During the talks, the two sides signed a Memorandum of Cooperation for the UAE LPG and LNG Storage and Transportation Project.

Xie Ke, Deputy General Manager of CMEC Group, along with relevant heads of the Fourth Complete Plant Department and the Middle East Regional Center, attended the meeting.
