On July 25, Fan Zhichao, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of SINOMACH, together with Wang Bo, Assistant to the General Manager of SINOMACH and Party Secretary and Chairman of CMEC Group and CAMCE, visited Hefei Gotion High-tech Co., Ltd. for exchange and held talks with Li Zhen, Chairman of Gotion. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on new energy industrial chain synergy, joint overseas market development, and high-end equipment technology R&D. Xu Shuangqing, Party Secretary and Chairman of Hefei General Machinery Research Institute (GMRI), a subsidiary of SINOMACH, and Chen Xiaohong, General Manager of GMRI, accompanied the visit.

Accompanied by Chairman Li Zhen, Fan Zhichao and his delegation first toured Gotion’s brand exhibition hall, materials R&D laboratory, and battery process testing laboratory, gaining a detailed understanding of the company’s achievements in cell R&D, new material iteration, smart manufacturing production lines, and overseas project deployment.

During the exchange meeting, Chairman Li Zhen extended a warm welcome to Fan Zhichao and his delegation, and provided a comprehensive introduction to Gotion’s core businesses and development strategy, including lithium battery materials, power batteries, energy storage systems, global industrial base deployment, and cutting-edge battery technology R&D. He noted that SINOMACH, with its deep expertise and extensive experience in equipment manufacturing, design consulting, industrialization construction, and global operations, has set a benchmark for high-quality development in the industry, and serves as a national flagship and pioneer in mechanical equipment R&D and new industrialization development. He pointed out that Gotion has been deeply engaged in the new energy lithium battery sector for many years, having built a complete full industrial chain for batteries, with overseas production base deployment continuing to accelerate. He expressed sincere anticipation that, through this exchange, the two sides would further expand cooperation avenues, deepen comprehensive synergy in technology, equipment, engineering, and overseas markets, jointly strengthen domestic high-end new energy manufacturing by leveraging their combined industrial resources, and collectively promote the high-quality “going global” of China’s lithium battery industry, contributing to the upgrading of China’s high-end new energy manufacturing sector.

Fan Zhichao thanked Chairman Li Zhen for his warm reception and spoke highly of Gotion’s technological accumulation and industrial leadership in the new energy sector. He noted that SINOMACH has long been deeply involved in China’s industrialization development and Belt and Road cooperation, with a profound historical and technological foundation, and shares broad space for cooperation with Gotion given their complementary industrial strengths. Subsidiaries of SINOMACH, including GMRI, have already established deep and practical cooperation with Gotion in key lithium battery production equipment and process safety support, laying a solid foundation for synergy. Looking ahead, the two sides can build on their existing cooperation to create a full-chain collaboration covering equipment R&D, integrated supply, plant construction, and international operations, while expanding diverse cooperation scenarios in areas such as lithium batteries, energy storage, and green manufacturing, thereby driving linked development across the upstream and downstream industrial chain.

Wang Bo held in-depth exchanges with heads of various Gotion business divisions on CMEC Group’s development history, business layout, and core strengths. He noted that CMEC Group’s global network covers numerous Belt and Road countries, and that the Group possesses rich experience and advantageous resources in the planning, financing, construction, and O&M of large-scale overseas industrial projects, which are highly aligned with Gotion’s global development direction. He proposed that both sides fully leverage their respective strengths, establish regular coordination mechanisms, and carry out deep and practical cooperation to jointly explore the global new energy market.

Both sides agreed to take this exchange as a new starting point to establish long-term communication and collaboration mechanisms, accelerate the implementation of cooperation in areas such as high-end lithium battery equipment, new energy plant construction, and overseas industrial deployment, and jointly create a benchmark model for domestic new energy industrial chain synergy and Chinese enterprises’ joint global expansion, contributing to the high-quality international development of China’s high-end new energy manufacturing industry.

Chen Fan, Deputy General Manager of CMEC Group; Liu Shengcheng and Yang Zhigang, Deputy General Managers of CAMCE; Fan Haibin, Deputy General Manager of GMRI; heads of the science and technology departments and relevant business divisions of CMEC Group and GMRI; Zhou Fu, Senior Vice President and Dean of Gotion High-tech Engineering R&D Institute; and heads of relevant overseas business divisions, technology R&D, infrastructure management, and manufacturing engineering departments of Gotion, attended the above activities.
