On May 19, Shen Ruihong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of China National Machinery Industry Corporation (SINOMACH), together with Wang Bo, Assistant to the General Manager of SINOMACH and Party Secretary and Chairman of CMEC Group, conducted a research visit to SIPPR, a subsidiary of CMEC Group. Gu Xiaoshan, Party Secretary and Chairman of SIPPR, delivered a work report, and members of the company’s leadership team participated in the research symposium.

Gu Xiaoshan gave a systematic report covering three areas: the company’s performance during the 14th Five-Year Plan period and since the beginning of 2026, existing risks and issues, and development ideas for the 15th Five-Year Plan as well as next-step work arrangements. Attending leaders and heads of relevant departments from SIPPR also reported and exchanged views on work progress, challenges, and recommendations.

Shen Ruihong fully affirmed the achievements made by SIPPR and put forward work requirements for the company’s high-quality development. He emphasized the need to proactively plan and seize opportunities, go all out to achieve “half-year targets” and ensure the completion of the annual goals. He called for high-standards and high-vision formulation of the 15th Five-Year Plan, strengthening the talent team, reinforcing the leading role of technological innovation, optimizing incentive mechanisms, and fully stimulating innovation vitality. He also urged SIPPR to leverage its digital and intelligent advantages, promote deep application of AI technology across the entire process of business, management, and risk control, and become a benchmark for digital and intelligent transformation. He further stressed the importance of closely relying on the platform and overseas presence of CMEC Group, continuously strengthening refined management and risk control, and promoting the steady development of international business. He also emphasized the need to earnestly carry out education on establishing and practicing a correct view of performance, and push forward the comprehensive and rigorous governance of the Party.

Wang Bo highly recognized the united, tenacious and enterprising spirit of SIPPR. He pointed out that, in the face of profound changes in the market environment, the company should further clarify its strategic development path for the 15th Five-Year Plan based on its actual situation, make well-coordinated strategic choices, and unwaveringly pursue a differentiated and characteristic development path. He also called for continuous optimization of the organizational structure and management model to improve management effectiveness, strengthening talent support by building a lean and efficient team aligned with the strategic direction, accurately allocating resources around core objectives and emerging strategic businesses while optimizing the business mix, and accelerating the upgrading of international business with further detailed concrete measures to achieve tangible results in international operations.

Heads of relevant functional departments from SINOMACH’s Operation Management Department, Legal, Risk and Compliance Department, and Strategic Development Department, as well as from CMEC Group and SIPPR, attended the symposium.
