On May 12, Chen Fan, Deputy General Manager of China Machinery Engineering Group Corporation (CMEC Group) and Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of China Machinery International Engineering Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. (CMIE), led a delegation to visit Zhou Zhou, Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of China National Gold Group Co., Ltd. (China Gold). The two sides held in-depth exchanges on deepening practical cooperation in areas such as mine environmental management, equipment technology upgrading, and international business expansion. Qin Jingwen, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of China Gold, attended the meeting.

Zhou Zhou welcomed Chen Fan and his delegation and briefly introduced China Gold’s production and operation status as well as its overall plan for the 15th Five-Year Plan period. He stated that China Gold has always adhered to the concept of green development, continuously advancing environmental compliance construction, ecological restoration, pollution prevention and control, resulting in steady improvement in environmental governance and positive progress in the development of green mines. Looking ahead to the 15th Five-Year Plan, China Gold will resolutely shoulder the responsibilities of a central state-owned enterprise in the new era, focusing on driving industrial innovation and upgrading as well as green and high-quality development. He expressed the hope that the two sides would strengthen cooperation in areas such as mine ecological and environmental protection, green and low‑carbon initiatives, comprehensive utilization of bulk solid waste, tailings resource recovery, geological exploration equipment R&D, and overseas mineral resource development, so as to achieve complementary advantages and shared growth.

Chen Fan expressed his gratitude to China Gold for its warm reception and briefly introduced the basic profile of CMEC Group and its subsidiary CMIE. He noted that CMIE focuses on three major service scenarios: industrial engineering, energy and environmental protection, and urban and rural services.
