On the afternoon of April 29, Shen Ruihong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of SINOMACH, together with Wang Bo, Assistant General Manager of SINOMACH and Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of CMEC Group, visited China United Engineering Corporation Limited (CUC), a member enterprise of CMEC Group, for research. Guo Ye, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of CUC, delivered a work report.

Guo Ye provided a systematic report covering three aspects: first-quarter operations, the “15th Five-Year Plan” strategic development, and Party-building enabled growth. Leaders attending the meeting from CUC, along with heads of relevant departments, reported and exchanged views on work progress, challenges, and recommendations.

Shen Ruihong fully affirmed the development achievements of CUC and conveyed the deployment requirements of SINOMACH’s first-quarter operating performance analysis meeting. He emphasized that the company should focus on key markets and key projects to strengthen tracking and analysis, ensuring the achievement of the “half-year target” (completing over 50% of the annual target by mid-year). He also noted that the company should further refine its “15th Five-Year Plan” development strategy centered on the vision and mission of building a “century-old strong institute,” make solid progress in research, strengthen the analysis of business structure and business quality, enhance assessment constraints, and continuously consolidate the foundation for high-quality development. He also stressed the importance of earnestly carrying out learning and education on establishing and practicing a correct view of political achievement, and advancing full and rigorous Party self-governance in depth around the target system of “six further improvements” in Party building.

Wang Bo fully affirmed CUC’s contributions to the high-quality development of CMEC Group. Regarding the refinement of the “15th Five-Year Plan” strategy, he proposed that CUC should align with the strategic requirements of SINOMACH and CMEC Group and anchor itself to the original point of its corporate strategic development; focus on the main areas and directions of the “15th Five-Year Plan,” strengthen resource allocation, and build differentiated competitive advantages; and grasp the main thread of high-quality development, strengthen qualitative and quantitative analysis, scientifically set strategic goals, and promote high-quality and sustainable development of the enterprise.

Chen Fan, Deputy General Manager of CMEC Group; Li Jingwei, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of CUC; Wang Jicheng, Deputy General Manager and Chairman of the Labor Union of CUC; along with responsible representatives from CMEC Group, the Technology Development Department of CAMCE, and relevant departments of CUC, participated in the research visit.
