Tian Zheng Inspects COECC’s Beijing Branch

On March 12, Tian Zheng, Member of the Party Committee, Chief Financial Officer, and Board Secretary of China Machinery Engineering Group Corporation (CMEC Group), led a delegation to inspect the Beijing Branch (Bohai Bay Regional Center) of China Ocean Engineering Construction Corporation Limited (COECC)—a subsidiary of CMEC Group. The meeting was chaired by Huo Mingming, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of COECC.

During the inspection meeting, Tian Zheng received a comprehensive briefing from COECC on the overall operational status and future development plans of its Bohai Bay Regional Center and Beijing Branch, as well as specialized briefings on financial management, project management, and legal affairs.

Tian Zheng fully affirmed the achievements made since the establishment of the regional center and the integration of the branch office. He recognized the company’s professional capabilities and project performance in core business areas such as marine engineering, building construction and renovation, and municipal infrastructure. Based on his findings, he offered the following guidance for future work:

First, deepen team building to galvanize collective momentum and stimulate intrinsic motivation.

Second, optimize market layout, strengthen business synergy, and enhance operational quality and efficiency.

Third, focus on core businesses, reinforce competitive advantages through deep specialization, and solidify the enterprise’s foundational strengths.

Fourth, strictly uphold quality standards and fortify safety protocols to ensure steady project progress.

Fifth, strengthen compliance-driven operations, standardize management processes, and reinforce the foundation of corporate governance.

The inspection was accompanied by officials from CMEC Group’s Finance Management Department and Legal & Risk Management Department. Also attending the meeting were select members of COECC’s senior leadership and executives, heads of the finance department, and members of the Beijing Branch leadership and functional departments.
