Chen Jun Leads Subsidiaries of Industrial Services Segment on Business Exchange Visit to CMIE

On March 12, Chen Jun, Deputy General Manager of China Machinery Engineering Group Corporation (CMEC Group), led a delegation of subsidiaries from the Group’s Industrial Services segment to China Machinery International Engineering Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. (CMIE)—a subsidiary of CMEC Group—for a business exchange focused on deepening internal synergy and jointly exploring new opportunities for collaborative growth.

Prior to the meeting, Chen Jun and his delegation conducted on-site visits to the Changsha Airport Economic Zone Integrated Wastewater Treatment Center, the Hunan Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center for Water Treatment Processes and Equipment, and the Hunan Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center for Electric Motor Testing Systems. They gained in-depth insights into CMIE’s achievements in technological innovation, equipment R&D, and engineering implementation, and also toured CMIE’s historical exhibition to learn more about the company’s development journey. 

At the meeting, Wang Jin, Deputy General Manager of CMIE, extended a warm welcome to Chen Jun and his team and expressed heartfelt gratitude for CMEC Group’s longstanding care and support. He stated that CMIE would take this exchange as an opportunity to further strengthen collaboration with fellow enterprises within CMEC Group, fully leverage complementary strengths, and promote deep integration across operations, technology, and services—thereby achieving resource sharing, mutual reinforcement, and collective alignment with CMEC Group’s strategic vision. Luo Zhizhen, Board Secretary of CMIE, provided a detailed overview of the company’s recent performance, business portfolio, technological innovation initiatives, and corporate culture.

Chen Jun highly commended CMIE’s notable progress in recent years. He noted that as a key technical pillar of CMEC Group, CMIE possesses solid technical foundations and a clear strategic direction, giving it unique advantages and a robust industrial base in advancing China’s new-type industrialization. He emphasized that, amid a complex and volatile market environment, both sides must remain confident and deepen internal synergy. He expressed hope that CMIE will continue to enhance its role in technical support, strengthen product quality oversight, and intensify talent exchanges—fully leveraging its professional strengths to align more closely with sister units and jointly drive CMEC Group’s high-quality development.

During the business discussion session, the two sides engaged in in-depth dialogue on areas including the integration of technological and industrial innovation, trade model transformation, investment and operation in new energy, overseas market expansion, high-end equipment manufacturing, localization strategies, and intelligent construction. The aim was to foster deep alignment across the industrial chain, supply chain, innovation chain, and talent chain, thereby consolidating synergies for high-quality growth.

The visit was accompanied by relevant officials from CMEC Group’s Operations Management Department and heads of its affiliated enterprises including CITC, CMEC New Energy, CMEC Hong Kong, China Machinery Industrial Products Co., Ltd. (CMIPC), CMEC Suzhou, and CMEC Wuxi. CMIE’s Deputy General Manager Zhang Fengliang and other senior executives participated in the forum.
