Wang Bo Holds Business Talks with Sichuan HUASHI Group Corporation Limited in Chengdu
On January 29, Wang Bo, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Machinery Engineering Group Corporation (CMEC Group), held a working meeting in Chengdu with Ma Lin, Party Secretary and Chairman of Sichuan HUASHI Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “HUASHI Group”). Building on the consolidation of their established strategic partnership, the two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on long-term collaboration plans. The meeting was also attended by Yang Rugang, Deputy Party Secretary, Deputy Chairman, and General Manager of HUASHI Group, and Liu Shengcheng, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of China CAMC Engineering Co., Ltd. (CAMCE)—a key member enterprise of CMEC Group.

Chairman Wang Bo expressed gratitude for HUASHI Group’s warm hospitality and commended the Group on its outstanding achievements over the past year. He outlined CMEC Group’s positive progress since the launch of the 14th Five-Year Plan period in advancing transformation, integration, and high-quality development, and shared the Group’s global market strategy for the upcoming 15th Five-Year Plan period.
Wang Bo reviewed the successful collaboration between the two parties since 2010, beginning with landmark projects including Luang Prabang in Laos and Wattay International Airport in Vientiane. He noted that subsequent flagship initiatives—including Pokhara International Airport in Nepal and Olympic City in Uzbekistan—have all been successfully delivered and have become iconic projects under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). These endeavors have not only strengthened mutual trust and synergy but also solidified the foundation for future cooperation. Looking ahead to the 15th Five-Year Plan, Chairman Wang expressed his expectation that both sides will further deepen strategic alignment in areas such as digital new infrastructure, green and low-carbon development, and engineering investment and operations, jointly contributing to the high-quality advancement of Belt and Road cooperation.


Chairman Ma Lin extended a warm welcome to Wang Bo’s visit to HUASHI Group’s headquarters and highlighted the Group’s strong political, social, and economic outcomes achieved since the 14th Five-Year Plan through seizing opportunities, driving reform, and overcoming challenges. He emphasized that CMEC Group and its member enterprises possess world-class capabilities in consulting, design, and engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracting, with a high degree of internationalization and particularly strong competitive advantages in large-scale industrial project delivery. Ma Lin also noted that HUASHI Group is actively transforming from a general construction contractor into an integrated urban operations service provider. He expressed keen anticipation for both parties to leverage their respective resource endowments and core strengths, deepen resource sharing, enhance collaborative synergy, forge core competitiveness, and jointly advance high-quality development of domestic and international businesses.
The meeting was also attended by senior executives from HUASHI Group, including Chen Yingrui, Deputy Party Secretary and Gu Jin’ge, Deputy General Manager. They were also joined by Yu Qiang, Party Secretary and Chairman of both Sichuan Urban Renewal Group Co., Ltd. and Sichuan Construction Mechanization Engineering Co., Ltd., and Yu Xiang, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of Sichuan Construction Mechanization Engineering Co., Ltd.
