On the afternoon of September 8, a delegation from Managem Group, Morocco’s mining company, led by Khalid Hammouch, Director of Business Development, visited China Machinery Engineering Group Corporation (CMEC Group). Chen Jun, Vice President of CMEC Group, and Liu Junjie, Member of the Party Committee and Vice General Manager of China Machinery Industry Construction Group Inc. (SINOCONST), a subsidiary of CMEC Group, attended the meeting. The two sides held in-depth discussions on potential cooperation opportunities in the North African mining market.

Chen Jun welcomed the delegation and introduced the overall profile of CMEC Group. He expressed strong confidence in the long-term prospects of the Moroccan market. He noted that Morocco’s national strategies, investment environment, and geographic advantages in renewable energy, industry, and infrastructure development are highly aligned with Managem Group’s industrial foundation, energy assets, and project footprint. Chen stated that CMEC Group is ready to leverage its integrated engineering and financing capabilities to work with Managem Group in advancing practical cooperation—from strategic alignment to concrete project implementation.

Hammouch expressed sincere appreciation for Chen Jun’s warm reception and gave a comprehensive overview of Managem Group’s current operations and long-term strategic vision in core business areas such as mining development and green energy. He highlighted several key projects currently under planning and expressed hope to expand collaboration with CMEC Group in these fields, aiming to deepen and substantiate their partnership.

Representatives of CMEC Group’s First Complete Plant Division and SINOCONST also attended the meeting.
