On the morning of August 26, Mr. Fang Yanshui, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of China Machinery Engineering Group Corporation (CMEC Group), led a delegation to Shanghai for a meeting with Mr. Zhou Hongwen, Director and General Manager of Envision Energy Co., Ltd. The two sides held in-depth discussions on topics such as strategic planning for new energy development and collaboration on key domestic and international projects.

Mr. Fang presented an overview of CMEC Group’s strategic layout and industrial strengths. He noted that Envision Energy is a global leader in zero-carbon technology R&D and green industrial development. He expressed the hope that both parties would leverage their respective advantages, strengthen cooperation in fields such as energy storage, hydrogen energy, power batteries, smart cities, and international business, and jointly promote industrial expansion and business model innovation, with the new energy value chain at the center. By capitalizing on complementary strengths, he added, both sides could unlock the full potential of collaboration for mutual development and shared success.

Mr. Zhou expressed his gratitude for CMEC Group’s recognition and support. After briefly introducing Envision’s current development and future plans, he stated that Envision looks forward to deepening cooperation with CMEC Group in areas such as equipment supply and integration, project development, and battery factory construction both domestically and internationally. He emphasized the goal of creating synergies across multiple fields and pledged full support for the achievement of project objectives. Envision will also share cutting-edge project information and high-quality resources with CMEC Group to achieve win-win outcomes.

In the afternoon, Mr. Fang and his delegation visited Wuxi Huaguang Environment & Energy Group Co., Ltd. for further business exchanges and held talks with Mr. Jiang Zhijian, Party Secretary and Chairman of the company.

During the meeting, both parties introduced their respective business segments and operations, and exchanged views on the progress of the 2×450MW Gas-fired Combined Cycle Power Plant Project in Cambodia and the Guolian Zero-Carbon Sci-Tech Innovation Park Project.

Fang stated that CMEC Group and Huaguang have carried out diversified and multi-level cooperation based on the principle of mutual benefit. He expressed the hope that the two sides would further expand collaboration in engineering consulting and EPC contracting in the domestic market, harnessing their strengths to empower each other.

Mr. Jiang emphasized that Huaguang attaches great importance to its deep friendship and strategic partnership with CMEC Group. He stated that Huaguang will fully leverage its strengths in technological innovation in the energy and environmental sectors to deepen collaboration with CMEC Group in consulting, engineering, and contracting, enabling both parties to jointly explore broader opportunities in the domestic market and achieve coordinated development and mutual success.

Chen Fan, Party Committee Member and Vice General Manager of CMEC Group, and Party Secretary & Chairman of CMIE, along with relevant personnel from the Market Development Department of CMEC, also attended the meetings.
