Wang Bo Visits China Machinery Huajin Casting Co., Ltd. in Shanxi

On August 22, Mr. Wang Bo, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Machinery Engineering Group Corporation (CMEC Group), along with Mr. Chen Jun, Vice General Manager, visited China Machinery Huajin Casting Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “China Machinery Huajin”) in Shanxi Province for a research and inspection tour. The company is a joint venture between CMEC Group’s subsidiary CMIPC and CITIC Machinery Manufacturing Group Corporation, Limited (hereinafter referred to as “CITIC Machinery”).

Mr. Wang conducted on-site inspections of the company’s casting workshop, surface hardening workshop, testing center, heat treatment workshop, and machining workshop. He also examined workplace safety practices and listened to a detailed report by China Machinery Huajin’s management on the company’s development history, operations, and financial performance. Mr. Wang spoke highly of the company’s capabilities in production, testing, and quality control, as well as its long-term investment in new product development and technological innovation. He commended both joint venture partners for embracing their responsibilities as central state-owned enterprises, serving major national interests, demonstrating strong synergy and cooperation, and leveraging their respective strengths to provide China Machinery Huajin with strategic direction, management empowerment, and access to world-class international customer resources.

Regarding the company’s next stage of development, Mr. Wang made three recommendations:

1. Strengthen lean management and control quality-related costs. For a product portfolio with multiple models, it is essential to fully leverage flexible production while balancing input-output efficiency.

2. Advance forward-looking research in technology and industrial development. Align with the national “15th Five-Year Plan” by planning the layout of advanced manufacturing and exploring cross-sector applications of common product technologies in segmented markets.

3. Sustain investment in technology and upgrade equipment. Promote intelligent and digital manufacturing capabilities tailored to local conditions in a pragmatic manner; prioritize the cultivation and recruitment of researchers and key experts to reach new heights of high-quality development.

During his stay in Shanxi, Mr. Wang and his delegation also visited CITIC Machinery, one of China Machinery Huajin’s joint venture shareholders. He held talks with Mr. Zhang Junguo, Party Secretary and Chairman of CITIC Machinery, Mr. Wang Quansheng, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager, and Mr. Cao Hui, Vice General Manager. Both sides introduced their respective business portfolios and operational highlights, and reached a strategic consensus on deepening cooperation. They agreed to align closely with national development strategies, harness their core competencies, and collaborate deeply in areas such as industrial chain synergy, technological innovation, and international expansion. The goal is to achieve complementary advantages, strong synergies between industry leaders, and a resilient path toward high-quality development.

Representatives from CMIPC and China Machinery Huajin also took part in the field visit during Mr. Wang’s trip to Shanxi.
