From June 10 to 12, Fang Yanshui, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of China Machinery Engineering Group Corporation (CMEC Group), led a delegation to attend the 16th International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum & Exhibition, as well as the 4th President’s Meeting of the 8th Council of the China International Contractors Association, both held in Macao. 

On June 11, Fang Yanshui gave a briefing on the overall development and international operations of SINOMACH to Sam Hou Fai, Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region, Zheng Xincong, Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao SAR, and other officials who visited the exhibition. During the forum, Fang held talks with the Minister of Housing of Cameroon and the Minister of Energy of Angola on key projects currently under development by relevant divisions of CMEC Group. At the forum’s centralized signing ceremony, CMEC Group signed a contract for the Yaoundé wastewater treatment and sewage collection system project in Cameroon, as well as a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in power, water supply, and hydraulic engineering projects in Angola. Additionally, two projects submitted by CMEC Group for presentation—the Intelligent Design Platform for Medical Buildings and the Smart Drone Inspection System—were included in the forum’s list of key deliverables.

Fang also held discussions with senior executives from Toyota Tsusho Corporation, Hitachi Energy, SUEZ Water Treatment Company Limited, and Standard Bank of South Africa on major projects and innovative business models. He engaged in a roundtable discussion with over 20 member companies of the Qingdao and Zhejiang foreign contracting associations to explore collaborative overseas ventures and resource sharing. Moreover, Fang held bilateral meetings and conducted business exchanges with representatives from China Development Bank, Export-Import Bank of China, H3C, Bank of Africa (Morocco), GIZ (Germany), and other participating enterprises and foreign government agencies.

Following the forum, Fang visited SINOCONST Macao to conduct a field inspection. He provided specific directives on enhancing operations, management, market development, and synergy within the enterprise.

Representatives from CMEC’s Operations Management Division, the 7th and 8th Complete Plant Division, and SINOCONST Macao accompanied Fang during the event.
