On March 11, Fang Yanshui, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of China Machinery Engineering Group Corporation (CMEC Group), met with Zhu Ying, Deputy General Manager (Acting) of the Sovereign Client Department of the Export-Import Bank of China (CEXIM), at the CMEC Group Building. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on innovative cooperation models and advancing key collaborative projects. Also present at the meeting were Zhang Chenxu, Senior Manager of the Sovereign Client Department of CEXIM; Xie Ke, Deputy General Manager of CMEC Group; Tian Zheng, Chief Financial Officer of CMEC Group; and Kang Zhifeng, Chief Financial Officer of CAMCE, a member company of CMEC Group.

Fang Yanshui extended a warm welcome to Zhu Ying and her delegation, reviewed the history of business cooperation with the Sovereign Client Department of CEXIM, and expressed gratitude for the bank’s long-standing support and care for CMEC Group. He introduced the company’s overseas business layout, highlighted the development of key country markets, and outlined project financing needs. He proposed establishing a regular communication mechanism to facilitate timely exchanges on the latest business developments and policies, and to coordinate the advancement of key projects for mutual benefit.

Zhu Ying thanked CMEC Group for its trust and support and provided an overview of the Sovereign Client Department’s business operations and latest policies. She expressed hope that, building on the strong foundation of historical cooperation, both sides would leverage their respective strengths, deepen communication, and work together to ensure the successful implementation of key projects, contributing actively to the high-quality joint development of the Belt and Road Initiative.

The meeting was attended by relevant leaders and department heads from the Sovereign Client Department of CEXIM, CMEC Group, CAMCE, and CNEEC.
