On March 11, Fang Yanshui, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of China Machinery Engineering Group Corporation (CMEC Group), met with visiting Chad's Minister of State for Finance, Budget, Economy, and Planning, Tahir Hamid Nguilin, and Chad's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to China, Abakar Saleh Chahaimi, at the company’s headquarters. This meeting marked a follow-up to the 2024 China-Africa Forum, aiming to further promote practical cooperation between the two sides in infrastructure construction and other fields.

Fang Yanshui extended a warm welcome to Minister Nguilin and Ambassador Chahaimi and their delegation. During the talks, both sides engaged in extensive and in-depth discussions on practical issues such as accelerating project implementation and expanding cooperation areas. This further solidified the cooperative relationship between CMEC Group and the government of Chad, laying a solid foundation for future collaboration in more fields.

Representatives from the Chadian government and the head of the Sixth Complete Plant Division of CMEC Group attended the meeting.
