On February 11, Wang Bo, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Machinery Engineering Group Corporation (CMEC Group), met with Yang Dongsheng, Party Secretary and Chairman of XCMG Construction Machinery (XCMG), and his delegation, at the CMEC Group headquarters. The two parties engaged in in-depth discussions on further deepening cooperation in domestic and international market development, exploring new applications of construction machinery and technology, and addressing other shared concerns. Chen Jun, Party Committee Member and Vice President of CMEC Group, accompanied the meeting.

Chairman Yang expressed his gratitude for Wang Bo’s warm reception and provided an overview of XCMG's business and development. He focused particularly on the company’s industrial layout and technological innovations in core sectors such as construction machinery and mining equipment, with special emphasis on recent advancements in new energy power system technologies. Yang noted that XCMG has maintained a strong business relationship and technical exchange with CMEC Group and its subsidiaries, and that the foundation for cooperation is solid. He highlighted the vast market potential for future collaboration in these fields. Chairman Yang looks forward to establishing a multi-tiered, long-lasting communication mechanism to enhance business alignment with CMEC Group and its subsidiaries, leveraging CMEC's international business advantages and its "one-stop" service capability across the entire engineering contracting industry chain. He aims to strengthen cooperation in mining machinery, agricultural machinery, and overseas construction machinery sectors, jointly promoting the high-quality development of domestic and international businesses.

Wang Bo, on behalf of CMEC Group, welcomed Chairman Yang and his delegation. Wang introduced CMEC's business development and congratulated XCMG on the remarkable achievements it has made in recent years. He pointed out that both XCMG and CMEC Group share a common origin in the machinery industry, and their cooperative tradition dates back a long time. The two groups have maintained deep cooperation in the export of domestic equipment and the equipment manufacturing sector. CMEC Group will further leverage its strengths in the machinery industry to deepen strategic coordination with XCMG, focusing on expanding market space in the machinery and equipment sector. This will involve mutual empowerment in the areas of new product technology research and application, as well as integrated industry services. Wang Bo expressed the hope that both parties fully utilize their respective strengths and conditions to continue to expand their cooperation across multiple fields and regions.

The meeting was attended by relevant leaders from XCMG's Shovel and Transport Machinery Division, Road Machinery Division, and Beijing Branch, as well as heads of CMEC Group’s Fifth Complete Plant Division, Operations Management Department, CMIPC, and GME.
