Recently, Li Mingqiang, Assistant General Manager of CMEC Group, met with a delegation from the Ministry of Energy, Hydropower and Hydrocarbons (MEHH) of Guinea at the headquarters of CMEC Group. The visiting delegation was led by N'Faly Diaby, Deputy General Manager of Electricité de Guiné (EDG).

Li Mingqiang warmly welcomed Diaby and his team, and introduced the cooperation between CMEC Group and MEHH on energy and water projects. He mentioned that the Kérouané Substation, a collaboration project between the two parties, is currently under tight implementation, while other power and water projects are steadily progressing. Li emphasized that CMEC Group consistently adheres to the principle of "building one project and making a group of friends" in its project execution. He thanked MEHH for its trust and support and expressed CMEC Group's willingness to further consolidate and deepen pragmatic bilateral cooperation. He hoped that the two sides would jointly promote the landing of key projects to benefit the people of Guinea through high-quality engineering, elevate bilateral cooperation to new heights, and contribute to the socio-economic development and enhancement of traditional friendship between the two countries.

Diaby highly praised CMEC Group’s performance on projects in Guinea and expressed hope for strengthened cooperation. He stated that this visit was commissioned by senior levels of the Guinean government to discuss cooperation on energy projects critical to Guinea’s national economy and people's livelihoods. Diaby and the delegation members acknowledged CMEC’s capabilities and achievements in multiple fields such as power and energy, expressing a desire for close and in-depth cooperation in relevant areas. They hoped to achieve breakthroughs in related projects soon, so as to realize mutual benefits and win-win outcomes.

Officials from relevant business departments of CMEC Group also participated in the meeting.
