On December 14th, Wang Bo, Party Secretary and Chairman of CMEC Group, inspected IPPR’s Construction Project of the Core Medical Area of Dali Prefecture People’s Hospital in Dali, Yunnan Province.

Wang Bo conducted a detailed inspection of the construction site, examining the progress of the project on-site. He paid particular attention to key areas such as the main public space, medical corridor, outpatient units, ward units, and support facilities. He also carefully checked the construction site’s safety measures and visited frontline staff stationed at the site.

Wang listened attentively to reports from the project team regarding their work, gaining a deep understanding of the overall project status, construction management, business management, and technical management. He commended the project team for their achievements in market expansion, EPC management, and quality control. Wang Bo emphasized the importance of participating in this project and proposed three specific requirements:

1. Customer-Centric Approach: Enhance communication and cooperation with all parties involved in the construction, leveraging IPPR's comprehensive advantages to improve project management and profitability. Focus on full lifecycle risk management and safety production control to advance the project to high standards, creating a comfortable, convenient, and healthy high-quality medical environment.

2. Commitment to High-Quality Development: Plan ahead for summarizing and reviewing the project, guided by the company's development strategy. Benchmark against leading domestic and international enterprises, promote learning and exchanges, and promptly summarize experience. Explore new ideas, methods, and models suitable for industry development to further strengthen core functions and competitiveness.

3. Empowerment through Technological Innovation and Capability Building: Increase the technological content of engineering services to empower industry development and better serve the people. Leveraging IPPR's expertise in medical architecture, actively explore expanding upstream and downstream business along the industrial chain. Promote the green transformation of the construction industry towards industrialization, digitalization, and intelligence, continuously enhancing the brand value of IPPR.

Also present during the activities were Jin Hui, General Manager of the Operation Management Department of CMEC Group; Ma Chao, Vice President of IPPR; Tian Guoqiang, General Manager of IPPR Southwest Branch; and relevant project personnel.

The Dali Prefecture People’s Hospital is a comprehensive tertiary Class-A hospital integrating medical care, teaching, research, prevention, health care, rehabilitation, and emergency services. It is classified as a Class I high-rise building with 2,000 beds and a total construction area of 304,046 square meters (189,061 square meters above ground and 114,985 square meters underground). The hospital will serve the entire western Yunnan region, providing significant health security for local residents and serving as an advanced base for national medical research. This project is a key livelihood initiative in Dali Prefecture.
