Recently, the China National Association of Engineering Consultants issued Announcement No. 17 of 2024, revealing the list of engineering consulting firms that met the Class A credit evaluation standards for the second batch of 2024. Notably featured on this list are several entities, including:

· China Machinery International Engineering Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. under CMEC;

· IPPR under CAMCE, a member enterprise of CMEC Group;

· CUCED under CUC; and

· CIPPR under SINOMACH

The credit evaluation of engineering consulting units is conducted according to regulations such as the Engineering Consulting Industry Management Measures, supervised by national and provincial Development and Reform Commissions, guiding industry organizations to carry out self-regulatory credit evaluations of engineering consulting units. This comprehensive evaluation covers multiple aspects including the professional technical strength, performance, and credit records of engineering consulting units, serving as the most prestigious capability certification recognized within China’s engineering consulting industry.

In particular, a Class A comprehensive credit rating allows engagement in engineering consulting services across 21 specialties, including architecture, municipal works, environment, power, machinery, metallurgy, and more, reflecting the overall strength of an enterprise in various dimensions. Obtaining this certificate is crucial for enhancing a company's influence within the industry and boosting market competitiveness, laying a solid foundation for extending service industry chains and further developing the engineering consulting market.
