Recently, Wang Bo, Party Secretary and Chairman of CMEC Group, traveled to Shanghai on behalf of the company and attend the opening ceremony of BAUMA CHINA 2024 and the launch of the "Smart Space Station." He visited the exhibition area and held talks with Yang Dongsheng, Party Secretary and Chairman of XCMG and XCMG Construction Machinery. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions about existing and future international industrial collaborations.

During his stay in Shanghai, Wang Bo conducted an on-site investigation of China Machinery Construction (Shanghai) Steel Structure Co., Ltd. (CMCS), a subsidiary of CMEC Group's member enterprise SINOCONST. He gained an in-depth understanding of the company's business operations and distinctive competitive advantages. Following the research and exchange, Wang put forward three key work requirements:

First, drive high-quality development by scientifically analyzing and assessing current opportunities and challenges, maintaining confidence and facing difficulties head-on. Second, cultivate core competitiveness by persistently developing and expanding distinctive advantageous businesses to create value for customers. Wang Bo convened a symposium with several subsidiary enterprises at the Shanghai CMEC Plaza, listening to work reports and engaging in discussions with CMEC Wuxi, CMEC Suzhou, and CMEC Shanghai Freight Forwarding regarding production management and new business development. He affirmed each enterprise's proactive exploration of transformation and high-quality development, and proposed three work requirements:

First, focus on high-value-added products to achieve high-end brand value and serve high-quality customers. Second, align with SINOMACH and CMEC Group's development strategies to build high-quality supply chains and provide comprehensive one-stop services including quality control, delivery, and after-sales support. Third, adhere to a long-term perspective, leverage CMEC Group's international marketing network to deeply integrate engineering and trade sector businesses, supporting SINOMACH manufacturing sector's "going global" strategy and serving international capacity cooperation.
