Wang Bo welcomed Minister Sekie Agisa and his delegation on behalf of CMEC Group. Since the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in October last year, both parties have successfully advanced the PNG abattoirs and rice processing project. Wang expressed gratitude for the strong support and trust provided by the PNG Ministry of Livestock, which has facilitated CMEC Group's smooth operations in PNG. He stated that CMEC Group will mobilize resources and spare no effort to expedite the project's effective and successful execution, contributing to the improvement of PNG's livelihood and the realization of self-sufficiency in food and livestock production. This will also promote high-quality development of related industries.

Minister Agisa thanked CMEC Group for their warm reception and highly praised the efficient collaboration between the two teams, which has led to significant progress in project implementation. He appreciated CMEC Group's contribution to enhancing the value-added of PNG's agricultural and livestock economy and ensuring national food security through this cooperation. Minister Agisa expressed his intention to expedite the relevant procedures of the PNG government to ensure the project's timely implementation. He looked forward to CMEC Group continuing to leverage its advantages in agricultural equipment and industrial construction to expand broader and long-term cooperation.

Under the witness of Minister Agisa, the CMEC-CSYIC consortium successfully signed the EPC contract for the PNG abattoirs and rice processing project with the PNG Livestock Development Company.

Prior to the meeting and signing ceremony, Wang Bo also met with Zhang Rui, General Manager of Shenyang Urban Investment Group and Executive Director of CSYIC. Both sides agreed that their businesses are highly complementary and expressed their willingness to use this project as an opportunity to continue multi-sector and multi-faceted cooperation both domestically and internationally.
