To implement the spirit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) summit and promote the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative and the "going global" strategy for Chinese equipment, Luo Qianyi, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of SINOMACH, led a delegation to Cameroon from October 29 to November 1. During the visit, Luo met with the Chinese ambassador to Cameroon and Cameroonian officials, surveyed SINOMACH projects, visited staff, and conducted safety inspections. Accompanying him were Fang Yanshui, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of CMEC Group; Xue Wenpu, Deputy General Manager of YTO Group Corporation; and Yang Xuegui, Deputy Director of the Operations Management Department of SINOMACH.

During the visit, Luo Qianyi met with Wang Yingwu, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of China to Cameroon, Gaston Eloundou Essomba, Minister of Water Resources and Energy of Cameroon, and Gabriel Mbairobe, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Cameroon. He held in-depth discussions with these officials on the development of SINOMACH's business in Cameroon, emphasizing the focus on promoting cooperation in areas such as water supply, agriculture, and infrastructure construction, which are crucial for social and economic well-being.

Ambassador Wang Yingwu highly commended the construction projects carried out by CMEC Group in Cameroon, praising the achievements made by SINOMACH in the Cameroonian market. He expressed support for SINOMACH's subsidiaries to expand their activities in various sectors of the Cameroonian market.

Minister Gaston Eloundou Essomba also highly recognized the significant contributions of the water plant project to improving the living standards in Cameroon's capital. He expressed sincere gratitude to SINOMACH and pledged full support for the company's market expansion in Cameroon, hoping to establish a strategic partnership with SINOMACH.

Luo Qianyi introduced SINOMACH's expertise in agricultural machinery and its vision for agricultural projects in Cameroon to Minister Gabriel Mbairobe. The minister and other officials provided detailed introductions to Cameroon's agricultural situation and needs, expressing a strong desire to cooperate with Chinese enterprises.

During the visit, Luo Qianyi organized a symposium for SINOMACH's enterprises in Cameroon and witnessed the unveiling ceremony of the "CMEC Group-YTO Group Cameroon Business Representative Office." He encouraged SINOMACH employees in Cameroon to collaborate with and support each other, jointly promoting the company's business expansion in Africa and making positive contributions to the implementation of the ten major partner actions for China-Africa cooperation in modernization proposed by President Xi Jinping, as well as to the high-quality promotion of Chinese agricultural machinery going global.

Luo Qianyi also inspected the Cameroon water plant project, which was successfully completed and began water delivery in August and is currently in the maintenance phase, and the aid project for the National Assembly Building of Cameroon, expected to be completed and handed over by November 30. He thoroughly reviewed the project implementation, checked safety production work, and required all levels of enterprises in Cameroon to study and implement SINOMACH's safety production requirements, strengthen primary responsibility, and ensure work is assigned to individuals. He expressed appreciation for the hardworking engineers and gave high praise for the project outcomes.
