CMEC Group Holds the Q3 2024 Business Operations Analysis Meeting

On October 28, CMEC Group held the Q3 2024 Business Operations Analysis Meeting. Attending the meeting were Wang Bo, Party Secretary and Chairman of CMEC Group, and Zhang Guangyuan, Deputy Director of the Fourth Supervision Office of SINOMACH. The meeting was chaired by Xie Ke, a member of the Party Committee and Vice President of CMEC Group.
The Operations Management Department and the Financial Management Department of CMEC respectively reported on the completion of Q3 business indicators, the progress of “transformation into substantive operations”, business collaboration, and financial performance.

Leaders or executives in charge of business operations from member enterprises, including the Sixth Design and Research Institute of Machinery Industry, China Ocean Aviation Group Limited, SINOCONST, China United Engineering Co., Ltd., CMEC, and CAMCE, also briefed on their respective companies' main business and financial indicators for Q3.
Wang Bo first conveyed the spirit of SINOMACH’s “Q3 2024 Business Operations Analysis Meeting and Value Enhancement Task Force Work Promotion Meeting” and the “2024 Science and Technology Conference.” He emphasized that all enterprises should align their thinking with SINOMACH’s development goals for 2030 and 2035, focus on the core responsibilities and main business, strengthen technological innovation, and advance the “six focuses” to contribute to achieving SINOMACH’s 2030 and 2035 development goals.
Wang Bo pointed out that under the strong leadership and support of SINOMACH, all member and affiliated enterprises have worked together, leading to steady progress in CMEC Group’s Q3 business operations. New advancements have been made in target fulfillment, market expansion, internal collaboration, and strategic emerging industry layout.
Regarding the priorities for the next phase of business operations, Wang Bo outlined three key requirements:
1.Implement the work deployment and requirements from SINOMACH’s Q3 2024 Business Operations Analysis Meeting. Clarify the seriousness of performance evaluations, benchmark against target fulfillment rates, manage the reduction of “two funds,” and make every effort to achieve the annual business targets.
2.In the face of the current economic cycle and a complex, ever-changing external environment, maintain strategic resolve, enhance judgment, intensify reform efforts, and improve resilience to drive high-quality enterprise development.
3.Enhance strategic awareness through professional and precise management and a robust risk prevention system. Identify and mitigate potential risks early to ensure sustainable and steady enterprise development.
Members of CMEC Group’s leadership team, leaders and department heads from its member enterprises, Class A and Class B enterprises of SINOMACH, and affiliated enterprises participated in the meeting either in person or via video link.
