CMEC Group's Financing Service Platform Holds the 4th Financing Seminar of 2024
On October 22, to guard against exchange rate risks and promote steady business growth, the Financing Service Platform of CMEC Group hosted the 4th Financing Seminar of 2024. The seminar addressed key economic topics trending both domestically and internationally, featuring a specialized lecture titled "Global Macroeconomic Trends, Foreign Exchange Management, and Trading Strategies." It invited Dr. Rong Jing, Chief Economist of BNP Paribas (China) Limited, and Mr. Xie Linhao, Head of Foreign Exchange Trading, to deliver the presentation. The event was moderated by Yuan Hui, Deputy Director of the Financial Management Department of CMEC.
The lecture provided a comprehensive analysis of recent domestic and global macroeconomic trends, fiscal and monetary policies, foreign exchange movements, and risk management strategies. It included an in-depth and systematic discussion on these topics and participants actively engaged in discussions on practical aspects of foreign exchange risk management. The high professional level and comprehensive content of the lecture provided valuable guidance for effective exchange rate management across CMEC Group's various units.
More than 80 representatives from CMEC, CAMCE, CNEEC, and affiliated units attended the seminar in person. An additional 100 participants from CMEC Group's member companies and subsidiaries, including China United Engineering Co., Ltd., SINOCONST, the Sixth Design and Research Institute of Machinery Industry, and CACS, attended the event online.
