GM Fang Yanshui introduced CMEC Group’s history, business overview and global engineering construction performance. He remarked that CMEC Group would give full play to its advantages in clean energy and equipment manufacturing and join hands with BJEI to contribute to the industrial upgrading and economic development of Rongchang District by meeting Rongchang District’s energy demand and machinery & equipment manufacturing need.

Chairman Zhang Ping noted that BJEI has a wealth of experience in clean energy and a variety of high-tech industries. This cooperation project has made full use of all sides’ advantageous resources and capabilities. It was hoped that the three parties would work together to create more opportunities for further cooperation in multiple fields like clean energy and achieve mutual benefit, win-win outcome and common development.

Party secretary Gao Hongbo remarked that Rongchang District, sitting in the core of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone, has national industrial parks with good foundation of industrial economy and resource endowment, serving as an important strategic pivot for the large-scale development in the western region. He hoped that CMEC Group and BJEI would bring their respective strengths into full play to help the district upgrade its energy mix and promote economic transition and development.

Also participating in the meeting were Li Hao, Party standing committee member of Rongchang District and secretary of Rongchang High-tech Zone Party Working Committee; heads of relevant committees, offices and bureaus of the district; Wang Liuhu, vice president of BJEI; and Xie Ke, deputy general manager of CMEC Group.
