Li Mingqiang Conducts Business Exchanges in Malaysia

From March 5 to 9, Assistant General Manager Li Mingqiang of CMEC Group was in Malaysia to attend the 2nd China-Malaysia Science & Technology Innovation Summit, during which he visited the senior leaders of Tenaga Nasional Berhad, discussed project cooperation with a number of partners and conducted a series of business exchanges.

At the Science & Technology Innovation Summit
On March 6, Li attended the opening ceremony of the 2nd China-Malaysia Science & Technology Innovation Summit, and participated with Malaysian partners in the launching ceremony of "Fostering Collaborative Innovation, Building Future Together" cooperation program.
During the event, Li Mingqiang had in-depth exchanges with Ouyang Yujing, Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia, and YB Tuan Mohd Rafizi Bin Ramli, Minister of Economy of Malaysia, on deepening cooperation in the Malaysian market.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia, Li said, and according to Malaysia's national energy transformation roadmap, CMEC will fully participate in the construction of new-energy industrial parks and photovoltaic power projects, strengthen cooperation with local enterprises, explore new ways of cooperation, promote market innovation, technological innovation and model innovation in the field of renewable energy in Malaysia, and make continuous contributions to the high-quality construction of the Belt and Road and the green, sustainable development of China and Malaysia.

At Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB)
During his stay in Malaysia, Li Mingqiang visited TNB and received a warm reception there.
Li reviewed the projects carried out by CMEC in Malaysia in the past 30 years, and introduced the company's technological and managerial advantages and project cooperation intentions in new energy fields such as combined cycle power, photovoltaic power, biomass power and garbage power generation. He said that CMEC is willing to work together with TNB to explore all-round cooperation in the fields of investment, financing, project contracting and technology.
The TNB side introduced the future energy planning of Peninsular Malaysia. The two sides conducted in-depth communication and exchanges on specific projects.

Discussing Project Cooperation
During his stay in Malaysia, Li also communicated with SINOSURE Southeast Asia Working Group on the investment and financing cooperation in the project development stage, and had in-depth exchanges a number of local partners on the cooperation in new energy industrial parks, photovoltaic power projects, water transmission projects in Johor State, Agrivoltaic projects in Sarawak and other flagship projects. They agreed on the development roadmap.
Personnel from relevant departments of the company, CMEC Wuxi and CMEC Regional Center in Malaysia accompanied Li in the above activities.
