500 MW Photovoltaic Power Plant Successfully Connected to the Grid in Sherabad, Uzbekistan
Recently, the largest single photovoltaic power project in Central Asia—Sherabad photovoltaic power station built in Uzbekistan by CMEC headquarters ("CMEC")—was successfully connected to the grid, only nine months after the commencement of construction, highlighting CMEC's technical capability and management level in the global new-energy field.
The power plant will soon be put into full operation, which will greatly facilitate the transformation of Uzbekistan's energy structure and promote regional economic development. As one of the key cooperation projects under the BRI, it will deepen China- Uzbekistan cooperation in the field of energy and open up a new ways for common development.
