The Thar Block II Coal-Power Integration Project in Pakistan contracted by CMEC is an energy project prioritized by the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, and is also the first local coal power generation project in Pakistan. Following the execution of Thar Coal Mine EPC Phase I, EPC Phase II, O&M Phase I and Phase II projects, CMEC again has won the bid for the operation and maintenance services of the coal mine. This will ensure the continuity of CMEC's business in the Pakistani market, further safeguard Pakistan's energy security, reduce Pakistan's power generation costs, and continue to benefit the people of the country.

Recently, the soybean by-product processing plant in San Julian, Santa Cruz Province, Bolivia, a project constructed by CMEC, has entered into the stage of full-scale installation.

This is the first state-owned soybean processing plant in Bolivia, and is a key project for Bolivia to accelerate its industrialization process, with a design capacity of 1,000 tons per day, and the main equipment is manufactured by the enterprises of SINOMACH. At present, the foundation construction of the plant has been completed, the main equipment and steel structures have been delivered to the site, and the installation work is in full swing. Upon completion, the project will provide more jobs for the region in which it is located and drive the economic development of the surrounding areas.

Recently, the CMEC-constructed Boron Carbide Production Plant in Bandirma, Turkey has obtained the acceptance certificate of performance test, which marks another solid and important step towards the handover of the project.

As a key project of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey, with a designed annual capacity of 1,350 tons, it will further extend the boric acid industry chain by deep processing of Turkish boron ore resources and transforming them into high value-added boron carbide products, which can be applied in many industrial fields. This project is the first overseas boron carbide production line adopting Chinese proprietary technology, Chinese standards and Chinese equipment, so it is of pioneering significance.

Recently, the combined cycle fuel performance test was completed for the 1,263 MW Jihang Gas Turbine Power Plant in Pakistan, a project undertaken by the headquarters of China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC), will all performance indicators meeting the requirements of the EPC and PPA contracts after preliminary evaluation. Completion of the test, which is the last one stipulated in the EPC and PPA contracts, marks that the Jihang project has successfully achieved the test objectives of the EPC contract, and the project is ready to be handed over to the owner to start dual-fuel commercial operation.

Over the past few days, CMEC Jihang Project Department made concerted efforts to overcome various difficulties, actively organized and promoted the defect elimination work, and completed the test with the cooperation and efforts of all parties. This is the first 8000H-class combustion turbine power plant completed by CMEC, with which the company has set up a good corporate image in the field of international engineering.
