Bai Yong investigates CMEC Group's projects in Argentina and Uruguay
Recently, Bai Yong, member of the Standing Committee of SINOMACH Party Committee, deputy general manager and chief accountant of SINOMACH, went to Argentina and Uruguay to investigate local subsidiaries and key projects of CMEC Group. Zhang Zhiliang, Chief Financial Officer of CMEC Group, accompanied Bai Yong in the investigation.
Bai Yong called on Zou Xiaoli, ambassador of China to Argentina, and Wang Gang, ambassador of China to Uruguay, and briefed them about the basic situation of SINOMACH, the latest progress and follow-up works of the project. Zou Xiaoli fully affirmed the achievements of Argentina Belgrano Freight Railway Reconstruction Project, and said that he would help SINOMACH promote key projects and contribute to the economic and trade cooperation between the two countries. Wang Gang said that the power transmission and transformation ring network closure project is the largest infrastructure project ever undertaken by a Chinese enterprise in Uruguay, and he hoped SINOMACH would carefully organize the project and build it into a model project.
Bai Yong came to the project site to visit frontline employees, conduct discussions and exchanges with them, and understand the work of CMEC Group in project execution, market development, and work safety. He inquired in detail about project accounting, fund management, project financing management, and financial institution management, and conducted in-depth discussions on relevant issues. Bai affirmed the work of CMEC Group in Argentina and Uruguay and gave specific instructions:
The first is to do a good job in the implementation of the project. Great importance should be attached to project quality, implementation progress, safe production and CSR fulfillment to build the two projects into model projects of China- Argentina and China-Uruguay cooperation. The second is to enhance the traditional advantages, do a good job in market development and innovate on business models according to the characteristics of the local market. The third is to strengthen financial management, summarize the experience in this respect, improve fund and tax management, and empower business development.
During his stay in Argentina, Bai Yong accompanied Yao Laiying, deputy director-general of the State Taxation Administration of the People's Republic of China, to inspect the Argentine project.
