On December 30, 2020, CMEC Comtrans International Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of CMEC, stood out from more than a dozen bidders after fierce competition, and won the bid for all transportation services for the 4×50 MW wind power project undertaken by China Huadian Engineering Co., Ltd (CHEC) in Dak Lak, Vietnam.

Located in Ban Me Thuot, Dak Lak, Vietnam, the project has a total installed capacity of 201.4 MW, including 76 sets of wind turbines. Shipment is expected to start in March 2021, with a total of 500,000 cubic meters of materials to be transported. CMEC Comtrans will employ a large number of vehicles and machines to ensure the safe and efficient construction of the project and build it into a model project of strong cooperation between central enterprises. Implementation of this project will provide valuable experience for CMEC Comtrans to explore Vietnam's logistics market.

This is the first project successfully landed after a cooperation framework agreement was signed between CMEC and CHEC in September 2020. It has created a good start for the follow-up cooperation between the two sides. In the future, CMEC Comtrans will expand the scope of cooperation with other central enterprises with the support of several strategic cooperation agreements of CMEC, and make the company a world-class international provider of logistics services.
