On the afternoon of August 27, 2020 Chinese Committee Meeting of China-Arab Joint Chamber of Commerce was held at the auditorium of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT).

CMEC is vice-presidential company of CCPIT. CMEC Deputy General Manager Tong Zigang was invited to attend and address the meeting. He, first of all, thanked the secretariat of 2020 Chinese Committee Meeting of China-Arab Joint Chamber of Commerce for inviting CMEC to attend the annual meeting, saying that it provides a valuable opportunity for communication under the condition of carrying out regular COVID-19 control. After that, he introduced CMEC’s business operations in the markets of Middle East and Arabian countries, as well as CMEC’s major ways of thinking about future market development and business exploration.

Those who attended the event and made remarks included, Ali Obaid Al Dhaheri, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to China, Anwar Yusuf Abdulla Alabdulla, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to China, Hussam Al Husseini, Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to China, Khaled Mohamad Hanafy, Secretary-General of the General Union of the Chambers of Agriculture, Industry and Commerce for Arab Countries, and Chen Zhong, Vice President of China Communications Construction Company. More than 300 representatives from Embassy of Saudi Arabia in China, Embassy of Lebanon in China, companies holding presidency and vice presidency in the Chinese committee, and those from energy, infrastructure, finance, aerospace, nuclear energy, new energy and other fields attended the meeting in person or online.
