On April 30, CMEC and China Datang Overseas Investment Co., Ltd. (CDOIC) signed a strategic cooperation agreement via video. CMEC Party Secretary and Chairman Bai Shaotong and CDOIC Chairman Zhang Yan attended and addressed the signing ceremony, giving an introduction to CMEC and China Datang Corporation, looking backed on the cooperation between CMEC and CDOIC, and requiring the two sides to start from the new point of the signing of the agreement and achieve practical results as soon as possible in overseas electric power project cooperation by giving play to their respective advantages. Particularly, Bai pointed out that CMEC and CDOIC should, on the basis of the agreement, complement each other with their respective strengths, practically cooperate with each other, make the cooperation between the two sides a window and model for the cooperation between SINOMACH and China Datang Corporation and between central state-owned enterprises.

CMEC Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager Fang Yanshui and CDOIC Vice General Manager Jia Bingjun signed the strategic cooperation agreement. Fang suggested that the two sides should, in accordance with the cooperation mechanism, analyze their respective project information as soon as possible, and jointly study and advance the cooperation projects.
