In the wake of the outbreak of the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV), medical supplies such as masks, protective suits, goggles and respirators were in shortage. Except for CMEC employees in Ukraine and Belarus, CMEC employees in Japan began to take actions to combat the epidemic.

In accordance with the unified deployment of the Chinese Embassy in Japan, the Chinese Enterprises Association in Japan tried every possible way to purchase medical supplies. In just a few days, it has purchased 150,000 masks from central and northern Japan by taking initiative to contact with mask suppliers and is delivering the masks to China.

Mr. Wang Jiaxun, President of CMIC Enmei and President of Chinese Enterprises Association in Japan, said that the association will bear in mind the motherland and the people, pay close attention to the epidemic, fulfill the corporate social responsibilities, work hard with unity and perseverance to overcome difficulties, and strive to make contributions to winning the battle of epidemic prevention and control.

For many years, the branch of CMEC in Japan has done a lot of work by actively cooperating with the Chinese Embassy in Japan, showing that overseas branches of CMEC have a strong sense of responsibility and increasing the reputation of CMEC.
