On September 28, Angolan local time, Han Xiaojun, Deputy Secretary of the Communist Party of China CMEC branch and Executive Director of CMEC, made an inspection visit to the SOYO combined cycle power plant in Angola.

He visited major facilities in the plant and listened to the report on the implementation of the project and the work pertaining to Party building. In the inspection trip, Han applauded the progress and quality of the project implementation and recognized the move that sub-contractors of the on-site construction department established a joint Party branch and worked to strengthen Party building.

Han instructed the on-site construction department to continue efforts in strengthening management of power plant operation and maintenance and integrate Party building into the project implementation to ensure the stable operation of the power plant.

Tong Zigang, Deputy Executive Director of CMEC, and other people were also present during the inspection.
