On the afternoon of September 3 (local time), CMEC General Manager Han Xiaojun inspected the site of the expansion project of the Basra Combined Cycle Power Station in Iraq, extending the greeting to local members of CMEC.

General Manager Han conducted exchanges with the project manager of Basra owner at the project department. The project manager of the property owner gave full recognition to CMEC’s on-site work and management. GM Han listened to the on-site report of the project manager Jiang Yushan, expressing his approval and satisfaction with the project progress and the high priority to workplace safety. On behalf of CMEC, he thanked all members of the project department for their hard work for the project. Han pointed out that Party members on the site should remain true to their original aspiration and keep their mission firmly in mind to implement the CPC Central Committee’s decisions and the requirements of its superiors, strengthen collaboration with the Party members of subcontractors, establish Party groups on the site, and give full play to the exemplary role of Party members so as to boost the orderly development of on-site construction.

Afterward, Mr. Han checked the construction situation and greeted the employees of the project department on the construction site.
