On August 7, CMEC and GE signed a cooperation agreement on the Ncondezi coal-fired power project in Mozambique. According to the agreement, the two sides will more vigorously advance the integrated project and deepen bilateral cooperation in the energy field based on their respective advantages in engineering, construction, energy technology, and capital market.

The agreement signing ceremony was attended by Fang Yanshui, Deputy General Manager of CMEC, Farid Fezoua,?CEO of GE Africa, and George Njenga, GE?Steam Power Sub-Saharan Africa Commercial Leader.
