General Manager Han Xiaojun Meets with Economic and Commercial Counselor of Chinese Embassy in Cote d'Ivoire

On the morning of May 9, CMEC General Manager Han Xiaojun visited Mr. Sun Liang, Economic Counselor, at the Economic and Commercial Counselor's Office of the Chinese Embassy in Cote d'Ivoire. He thanked the Economic and Commercial Counselor's Office for its support in the power grid project in Cote d'Ivoire and introduced the development progress and estimated time of completion of the project. Mr. Han said, CMEC highly values the development prospect of the market of Cote d'Ivoire and will continue to develop the market deeply and seek for new cooperation opportunities. Mr. Sun extended a warm welcome to the CMEC delegation. He introduced the political and economic conditions of Cote d'Ivoire, analyzed the current investment environment in Cote d'Ivoire profoundly, and provided some instructive advice on the future development direction of Chinese-funded enterprises in Cote d'Ivoire. Besides, both parties also had an in-depth discussion on the focus of follow-up work, market potential of Cote d'Ivoire, future development trends and other topics.
  
On the morning of May 10, Mr. Han visited the power grid project site in Bouake, the second largest city of Cote d'Ivoire. He visited the Bouake warehouse and the Bouake transformer substation No. 2 under construction. The Site Manager of East China Power Transmission and Transformation Engineering Company reported the construction of the project. After that, Mr. Han gave some instructions for the project execution, site security and quality.
  
On the afternoon of May 10, Mr. Han visited the project management teams and sites of the above two CMEC projects, investigated the current project implementation and put forward some requirements for the project department.
