On the afternoon of April 9, CMEC President Han Xiaojun, met with Mr. Zhang Tao, Mayor of Dingzhou City, Hebei Province and other delegates. Mr. Han Xiaojun extended welcome to Mr. Zhang Tao and other delegates and said that CMEC had always attached great importance to the cooperation with local governments, and that he was looking forward to substantive progress in the cooperation between CMEC and Dingzhou City.

　　

After the meeting, CMEC Vice President Zhang Jianguo chaired a matching meeting on the comprehensive utilization and development project of methane (biogas) with Dingzhou City. At the meeting, Mr. Zhang Jianguo introduced the Company’s basic situation to Mr. Zhang Tao and other delegates, and emphatically introduced the domestic and foreign research and studies on the comprehensive utilization and development project of methane (biogas) to be carried out by CMEC, overall regional development, localization of relevant equipment, domestic and foreign technology and process, and early cooperation with Sifang Greenlane Clean Energy Technology Co., Ltd. Mr. Zhang Tao said that the comprehensive utilization of methane (biogas) was a good project benefiting China and its people, and was the optimal approach for national and local governments to addressing the rural non-point source pollution, building beautiful villages and reducing the amount of chemical fertilizer. Mr. Zhang Tao expressed appreciation to CMEC for its attention to and planning in this field, and said that Dingzhou Municipal Government and relevant departments would actively provide support and cooperation and ensure the smooth implementation of the project. Both parties exchanged views on such issues as upstream material collection, downstream product sales, and national and local policy support.
