According to the requirements of the notice on the assessment of SINOMACH’s chief experts, Comrade Zheng Jianguo, Chief Expert of SINOMACH and Master of China National Engineering Survey and Design, was evaluated in early 2019. The assessment team consists of Zhang Wei, Vice President of CMEC, Huang Jincai, Director of the Training and Development Division of Human Resources Department of SINOMACH, Li Jing, member of the Training and Development Division of Human Resources Department of SINOMACH, Yang Yonglin, General Manager of JK Institute, Guo Yun, Deputy General Manager of Human Resources Department of CMEC, and Wang Huashan, Deputy General Manager of Design and Consulting Department. Comrade Zhang Wei served as the head of the assessment team.

 

At the meeting, Comrade Zheng Jianguo made a report on the work of SINOMACH’s chief experts in 2018. He detailed about the completion of annual tasks regarding scientific research projects, team building and personnel training, patent applications, papers and works, awards, academic conferences, and exchanges, and reviewed his three-year term of office.

 

After listening to the debriefing, members of the assessment team agreed that Comrade Zheng successfully fulfilled the post duties of chief expert and overfulfilled remarkable results in various indexes of 2018, especially in a range of major scientific research projects, research on academic achievements, and building of innovation team. He made contributions to the technical progress of JK Institute and provided important technical support for the engineering contracting business of SINOMACH and CMEC. Comrade Zheng Jianguo was rated “excellent” in the annual assessment.

 

The assessment team hoped that Comrade Zheng Jianguo as SINOMACH’s chief expert would align his future work with the “Belt and Road” Initiative and overseas business strategies of SINOMACH and CMEC to make overall plans for postdoctoral scientific research workstations, continue to build up an innovation team and talents team, and play the leading role of the chief expert in significant projects and research projects of SINOMACH and CMEC.
