V.P. Ai Wei pays a courtesy visit to Chinese Minister to Japan Song Yaoming

On November 26, CMEC Vice President Ai Wei paid a courtesy visit to Chinese Minister Song Yaoming to Japan. V.P. Ai briefed Minister Song on the corporate development strategy and the business and future development plan of CMEC Japan Company and CMIC Enmei Co., Ltd. According to AI, CMEC has been following closely the changes to Sino-Japanese relations this year. From Premier Li Keqiang's visit to Japan in May to Japanese Prime Minister's visit to China in October, a total of 52 business cooperation agreements in various fields were inked at the Great Hall of the People. CMEC is looking forward to win-win cooperation with major Japanese companies in infrastructure construction and trade.
  
Minister Song welcomed the visiting CMEC delegation and then introduced Japan's policy in embracing the Belt and Road Initiative via joint third-party market development following the mutual visits by state heads, as well as future cooperation projects in Vietnam, Myanmar and India between Chinese and Japanese companies. He encouraged CMEC to actively work with Sumitomo and Mitsui & Co., Ltd. in third-party markets and promised to offer more help for win-win cooperation between Chinese and Japanese businesses.
  
Then V.P. AI visited CMIC Enmei Co., Ltd. and CMEC Japan Company respectively to listen to the 2018 work report and the 2019 work plan, talked to employee representatives and demanded both companies to fine-tune their work targets for the next year in terms of strategic development, business innovation, resource reserve and institutional improvement. He also offered concrete suggestions on cooperation with Japanese companies in third-party markets and proposals on joint development of local market by CMEC subsidiaries in Japan, the United States and Germany.
  
The CMEC delegation also visited COFCO Japan and reached an intent of cooperation regarding e-commerce, overseas warehousing, and overseas concentrated procurement.
