Party Secretary Han Xiaojun Investigates Management and Party Building of CMEC’s Equipment Division

On the morning of July 2, Han Xiaojun, Party Secretary and Deputy Chairman of CMEC, conducted a fact-finding investigation into the management and Party building of CMEC’s equipment division. More than 20 leaders and business backbones from five companies under the equipment division participated in the investigation. Ai Wei, Vice President of CMEC, Zhang Qi, Party Secretary and Deputy General Manager of Trade and Service Management Department, and Zhu Linsen, Deputy General Manager, also took part in the investigation. The investigation was presided over by Chen Jun, General Manager and Deputy Party Secretary of China Machinery Industrial Products Co., Ltd. (CMIPC)

First of all, Chen Jun and general managers of all trustee companies introduced their operation and Party building respectively. Bai Kebin, Party Secretary of CMIPC, reported on the development of “joint Party building,” “Party building of equipment division” and “goals of Party building.”

Vice President Ai Wei put forward four requirements based on the future development of the Equipment Division. First, all subsidiaries, especially overseas project sites and joint ventures, need to put production safety first; second, we need to strengthen risk control, put an end to quick success and instant profits, and do a good job in project review and implementation; third, we need to improve and standardize the rules and regulations and upgrade the process; fourth, we need to utilise all available resources to open up new business forms of operation and development.

Party Secretary Han Xiaojun listened carefully to everyone's report, fully affirmed the achievements made by the Equipment Division in recent years and was confident in this capable team with high morale. He gave five instructions on the future development. First, we need to continue to strengthen the Party building and promote business development through the Party building. Second, we need to take technological innovations as the guide to enhance the core competitiveness. Third, we need to strictly control business risks and raise the awareness of production safety. Fourth, we need to carry out the internal cooperation and seek common development. Fifth, we need to strengthen the building of a clean and honest corporate system and strictly abide by related discipline.
