On May 22, centering on the theme of promoting the “Belt and Road” initiative, the delegation held talks with the officials of the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan and the representatives of a dozen of Chinese enterprises. Han attended the talks and made a report to the delegation on CMEC’s business operations in Pakistan. Meanwhile, the members of the delegation communicated with the participants to the talks on such issues as the security situation, tax policy and market competitions in Pakistan. 

 

On May 23, the delegation visited the representative office of CMEC in Pakistan. Han briefed the delegation on the development history of SINOMACH and CMEC, and gave a detailed introduction to the implementation of CMEC’s projects in such “Belt and Road” countries as Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh in South Asia. After that, the two sides communicated with each other and made discussions in a lively atmosphere.
