From April 8 to 9, Vice President Fang Yanshui went to the construction site of Thar Block II Coal-Electricity Integration Project in Pakistan to inspect the progress and safety production management of the project. A coordination meeting of safety management was held, where Vice President Fang Yanshui listened to the reports by the Power Station Project Department, Mining Project Department and the subcontractors. He also conducted safety inspections on the spot. Vice President Fang Yanshui requested the CMEC Project Department and subcontractors to actually implement the main responsibility for safety production. Furthermore, starting with several aspects ranging from rules and regulations, organizations and institutions, potential hazard investigation, safety training and education, to the input of safety facilities, the concept of “Safety Comes First in Production” should be established so as to form a situation with safety production where “everyone takes charge of safety with multi-pronged approaches”.
