CFO and Board Secretary Zhou Yamin Meets with Deutsche Bank’s Global Head of Trade Finance
On the afternoon of January 8, CFO and Board Secretary Zhou Yamin met with Daniel Schmand, Deutsche Bank’s Global Head of Trade Finance. The two sides exchanged views on potential cooperation opportunities between CMEC and Deutsche Bank brought by the “going global” initiative of Chinese enterprises and the Belt and Road Initiative.
Zhou Yamin extended a warm welcome to Mr. Schmand, spoke highly of bilateral cooperation in financing, and expressed the expectation to expand cooperation in the future. Mr. Schmand said that the two sides had a solid basis for cooperation and Deutsche Bank would respond actively to China’s the Belt and Road Initiative, and provide more financial support in favor of CMEC’s development strategy. The two sides then discussed the development status of the power industry, the lending policy of relevant countries, as well as financing plans for specific projects. The meeting produced good results to boost cooperation between CMEC and Deutsche Bank.
