On October 29, the 19th “Love Knows No Borders” International Charity Sale, which was initiated by Ms Qian Wei, wife of the Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, was held at Beijing Workers’ Stadium. CMEC Deputy Party Secretary Yu Bo was awarded by Wang the certificate of honor for donation at the event.

The charity sale was themed with “Love Knows No Borders – Building Healthy Villages in Yunnan”. The fund raised will be donated to China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation for building clinics in poverty-stricken areas in Malipo and Jinping counties, Yunnan. Over 140 ambassadors to China and representatives of international organizations in China and their spouses attended the opening ceremony of the charity sale, which attracted 77 foreign embassies and representative offices of international organizations in China as well as 20 domestic enterprises and public institutions, a total of 15,000 persons, generating extensive social impact.

After the opening ceremony, Wang and Qian visited the booth of CMEC to have a look at the products, encouraged the onsite personnel and recognized their work. Yu introduced the products to Wang.
SINOMACH Vice General Manager Sun Derun attended the opening ceremony, visited the booth of CMEC, and took a group photo with onsite personnel.

The product for sale was a kind of emergency solar lamp developed by CMEC Wuxi.
